Unfortunately Reigate & Banstead Council have asked us not to go ahead on Reigate Heath on Sunday as planned.

However, Surrey Wildlife Trust would be delighted to welcome us to Brockham Limekilns instead. The site has some of the highest protective designations in the UK. It is a chalk grassland site, with a heritage interest too. We'll be knocking back the invading tree and scrub growth.

Directions:
Come along A25 from Reigate. Pass Arkle Manor pub, then turn right into Chalkpit Lane (just past line/pile of logs and wooden barn).
Follow lane - come over level crossing, lane turns left keep going past the old quarrymen cottages. keep going and turn right at end of row of cottages and go up track as far as can - should see us/kilns on left hand side.
Grid ref: TQ198509/Postcode: RH3 7EZ.
10am start as usual.
